Napani Algae Lime Powder is made from gently ground red algae (Lithothamnium Calcareum), a species of algae that has been growing on Earth for about 1,400 million years.
As a plant that grows slowly in its natural environment on the seabed, it contains a variety of vitamins and minerals essential for the body (such as calcium, magnesium and iron), as well as organically bound trace elements (such as iodine, selenium and copper) and health-promoting, bioactive secondary plant substances.
Packaging
Napani uses compostable bags made from plant-based materials. The paper is made from agricultural waste and has the same qualities and properties as regular paper. The key difference, however, is that no trees need to be cut down to make "PaperWise"! (Plastic-free. No PE coating. Seedling certified.) Contents & Composition: 100% ground red algae (Lithothamnium calcareum). Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 0.7%, crude ash 84.8%, crude fiber 1.5%, crude fat 0.01%.
